Calendula

latin name: Calendula officinalis

Calendula’s orange blossoms are anti- inflammatory, antioxidant, anti viral, and astringent. The flowers can be found in teas and are most commonly used externally for rashes, bruises, burns, cuts and abrasions. Topical products made from calendula may promote new tissue growth in wound healing, and help decrease skin inflammation. A wonderful addition to any topical oil or salve!
